SAAP
Shengli Algorithm Acceleration Platform (SAAP) is an innovative product that uses hardware FPGA technology to realize strategy acceleration.
Utilizing the more late FPGA technology, SAAP reduces the latency for market data processing, transaction data operation and strategy algorithms. SAAP architecture avoids the performance bottleneck at the Operating System kernel, so it can process higher volume of concurrent events. It ultimately brings the ultra low latency Tick-to-Trade for high frequency strategies.
System Advantages:
Low latency hardware performance:
Hardware acceleration for market data processing, strategy calculation and order sending to achieve lowest Tick-to-Trade latency
Software and hardware working together:
A redesigned architecture that handles latency sensitive business inside FPGA hardware and runs management business on CPU, resulting in better utilization of machine resources.
Easy to use:
Strategy logic can be implemented using C++ or OpenCL, which greatly reduce implementation gaps of using low level hardware languages and lower the operational cost.
Unified access API:
Market data protocol and trading protocol have the same standards as the Shengli REM and EFH's internal protocol. The delay caused by internal and external protocol conversion is reduced to a greater extent, which makes the interface more efficient.
